Happy Easter

well, for some reason my computer has a virus and won’t let me update my blog doddarmyadventures.blogspot.com

so I’m back to this old blog to update some Easter pictures and recent pictures of the boys!

Hopefully I will get this computer fixed and my blog will work again soon.

Timmy is soooo crazy about Jack. The look on his face in this pic says it all! Jack loves to push the buttons on Timmy’s swing and Timmy is just crazy about his big brother!

Jack likes to play with his letter cookies more than he likes to eat them LOL. I’m so proud of him– he called me over and said “Look Mommy… I spelled Xylophone!” he is pretty close– good guess for a 2 year old!

Here are some other things he likes to spell…he was pretty close to spelling “stop”

one last picture…. the boys had fun grocery shopping the other day. They have really become close… Jack keeps saying things like “I love my Timmy so much” and when Timmy naps Jack can’t wait for him to wake up and play. Jack usually rides in the car and Timmy rides up in the front of the cart where I am but Jack really wanted Timmy to sit next to him! So cute!!!! Timmy loves it– any attention from Jack is the highlight of his day

Walking With Dinosaurs

We took Jack to the Worcester Ecotarium today to see the baby T-rex from “Walking with Dinosaurs”. He had such a great time. Here are two videos- the look on his face is priceless.

Jack turned 23 months old today! I can’t believe my baby is almost two and is going to be a big brother really soon.

Jack took his first step about a month ago and was slow making progress taking that second step but today he walked!!!!! Here is some priceless video

Happy Halloween

Jack went to the bathroom on the potty!

I’m so proud of Jack! I have been teaching him the sign for “toilet” and we bought him a little Elmo potty seat. After many days of talking about the potty and showing him how it flushes etc, I was playing with Jack today and he signed “toilet” to me and I could see that he was trying to go to the bathroom in his diaper so I put him on his potty and he went in the toilet! He was clapping for himself with a big smile on his face– he was just so proud! I wasn’t going to potty train him until he was older but he is ready and he is showing me that he is ready because he communicates so well thru sign language– it’s really great! Here is a picture of his first time on the potty (He is going to kill me for posting this when he is older but he is just too cute! LOL) 

Jack took his first step today!!!

Earlier this week I was reading to Jack in his room and he got up out of my lap and just stood up on his own without holding on to me with this proud/amazed look on his face. Now today he is standing for long periods of time by himself and he decided to take a step (at Nana’s house on Nana’s birthday)! I’m so proud of him

It’s been way too long since I’ve posted an update here. We are moving to an awesome new apartment Oct. 1st so life has been busy. We have gone to Noodle Noggin N Bean quite a few times in the last couple of weeks– the kids LOVE it there.
